omg shousetsu is also doing two more themes this year (“Crime and Punishment” and “Sword and Sorcery” respectively) which would be really perfect…. for the LiCl AUs livali and sao have been working on……

and we’ve been talking about submitting LiCl stuff to shousetsu for YEARS! but it’s always been dragged down by having such a huge relationship/universe-explanation backstory that made making a self-explanatory one-shot out of it difficult. SO WHAT WOULD BE MORE PERFECT THAN USING AUs???? we would literally be writing one-shot fanfics of our own story in order to make it presentable it would be PERFECT

It’d be kind of weird/funny that their names are chemicals and also that they’re the same for both stories but that doesn’t really matter and we could also explain that in an author’s note or something. Also it would be interesting to work on collaborating more seamlessly instead of in a roleplay format, so that it all read as one narrative.

BUT YEAH THIS SOUNDS LIKE AN EXCELLENT PLAN AND QUITE AN ADVENTURE AND YES.
